PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

“For All Ages”
Serving St. Lucie County

Community Transit, a division of Council on Aging of St. Lucie, Inc. (COASL), is the public transit provider for St. Lucie County through a contract with the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County. Community Transit has been servicing St. Lucie County since 1990. Community Transit has two modes of transportation:

Treasure Coast Connector (Fixed Route)

A fixed route service generally provides service along specific routes with scheduled arrival times at predetermined bus stop areas. Reservations are not required, however, we request that you are at the bus stop five minutes in advance.

Reservationists are available Monday-Friday, 7am--6pm, except holidays.
Community Transit (Demand Response)
A demand response system which is an origin to destination system where passenger trips are generated by calls from passengers or their agents at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance, to the Transit Reservationist, who then schedules a vehicle to pick up the passenger.
Reservations are accepted up to two weeks in advance.

The demand response system is for individuals who cannot access the fixed route service due to some disability. Eligibility for the system is required.

Fares - Fixed Route

Single day passes, 10-ride ticket books, and monthly passes are available. We also
offer discount passes to Seniors and those with qualified disablities. Call Customer
Service for tickets and passes.

Tickets and Passes can be purchased from the Drivers on the Buses. Please have the
exact amount. Tickets can also be purchased from St. Lucie County's Community
Services Divsion located at 437 North 7th Street, Fort Pierce, Fl.
